Original British Household Cavalry Life Guard Trooper Complete Uniform Set

Original Items: Only One Set Available. This set bearing Queen's Crown dates anywhere from 1953 until the early 1990s as it was surplussed off from the Ministry of Defense stores at that time. Unlike the Horse Guards who wore blue tunics, the Life Guards wore red tunics and the horsehair plumes to their Cavalry helmets were white and not red. These are the Cavalry you see clattering along beside the Queen's Coach on all State occasions. and stand guard outside the Royal residences as well as the Foot Guards who wear Bearskin Helmets.

From a Collection in England, this set is comprised of-

• Original parade helmet with with horsehair plume (and original length chin strap).
• Original cuirass set (Armor), front and back plates with over the shoulder brass articulated straps and leather waist belt.
• Red Melton cloth tunic with blue trim and regimental stay bright buttons, complete with gold roping Agliettes to each shoulder.
• White leather buckskin Jodhpurs (pants).
• Thigh high cavalry heavy black leather boots.
• Black leather document pouch with Royal arms badge to be worn in the middle of the back supported by a polished white leather shoulder belt with brass fittings.

Point of note include-

• Leather jodhpurs (pants) are dirty and show wear.
