Original Item: Only One Available. Released from British Government Stores in the early 1990s we were fortunate to obtain a very few examples. These having been used had been in storage probably for twenty years prior to sale and then deposited with IMA.
This is an absolutely genuine original British Life Guards Parade helmet and comes complete with the original leather liner, ringed chin scales and white dyed genuine horsehair plume. The Helmet plate displays the "Queen's Crown" indicating military service post 1952. The helmet does show use and long time neglected storage and is in need of a good cleaning. No collector has ever owned this helmet as it came, after service, directly from military stores to our warehouse.
