Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a great set of 1840s-1850s era tins of percussion caps. Four of the five are British from London, England, and one is a French or possibly Belgian tin of pinfire caps, complete but opened.
The lot includes:
• F. Joyce & Co percussion tin, London England. Label is well retained with decorative exterior, only 2 caps remain inside.
• Joyce cap tin, empty with label almost off but still retained.
• Still sealed tin of F. Joyce & Co caps, London England. 100 caps total, never opened.
• Successors to F. Joyce & Co. tin of 250 caps, about half remaining.
• “100 Broche Amorces Gevelot” 100 pinfire caps, still has the wool insert. A great piece.
This is a great lot of percussion cap tins, ready for further research and display!
