Original Item. Only one Framed Set Available. This is charming, a quality mahogany wood frame containing SEVEN individual photographic cameos of Queen Victoria and her Military Heroes. Overall it measures 14 1/2" X 12 1/2" X 4", and is glazedglazed showing Cameos in the following layout:-
"Old Head" Queen VICTORIA
Frederick Sleigh ROBERTS - Redvers BULLER
Sir George Stuart WHITE - John Denton Pinkstone FRENCH
Horatio Herbert KITCHENER - Robert Stephenson Smyth BADEN-POWELL
Each Cameo is secured in its own gilded bezel, displayed on a black fabric back ground. Beautifully framed with a gilded matte and an after market key on the reverse.
Interestingly Garnet Joseph WOLSELEY was not included, but then again he was such a disciplinarian no body truly liked him.
