  • Original Item: Only One Available. The lock is marked 1856 TOWER, and the barrel tang appears to have a crown marking however the breech of the barrel has no visible proofs. Blade and ladder sights, with two barrel bands, fore-end cap, sling swivels and an iron ramrod. Nice dark patina finish with a smooth straight walnut stock and an iron buttplate. Barrel is 36 inch round in .577 caliber.

Condition of this percussion rifle is very good. The rifle retains lots of original finish. The stock is in fine condition a a few minor dings and scuffs and still shows a WD cartouche. The barrel bore has no visible rifling. Overall a very nice looking gun originating from our Nepal cache purchase of 2003
