  • Original Item. Only One Available. Of all brass construction, this is a Single Draw telescope as purchased by Officers who served in the 1899 -1901 Boer War in South Africa. It measures 18" when completely closed and 25" when fully extended, including the sun shade. The Optics appear to be in perfect order.

    Fully polished, it is marker marked and dated on the single draw barrel:-

    1898

    These went on to be widely used on the Western Front in the first World War. In very nice condition and very decorative, ready to display.
