  • Original Item: Only One Available. These Ammunition Carriers with individual belt loops for .303 caliber cartridges are extremely had to find. The 1903 Pattern pocketed types to carry complete loaded clips are much more common on the collector's market. This example is in used condition, in fact a small section of the "tongue" has come away and is missing. The leather shows wear and age, and a lot of the stitching has become delicate. The male end of the belt is clearly stamped:-

    There is evidence that there was at one time some form of leather button down covers, each to cover five rounds that connected to ten brass studs along the bottom of the belt. These covers have since been removed perhaps when it was converted from an over the shoulder bandoleer to a waist belt.
