Original Item: One-of-a-kind.
This is a charming vintage steel document tin measuring 16" x 11" x 6.5", complete with folding handles and integral lock (key long missing). The top of the tin has initials L.N.E.R. in yellow on a green background standing for: LONDON AND NORTHEAST RAILWAY.
There is also a delightful white painted sketch of Stevenson's ""rocket"" said to be the world's first locomotive. The front of the tin is marked "STATION MASTER", "RUGBY", a city in the midlands of England. Offered in vintage condition.
