Original British 1960s Era Royal Armoured Corps Junior Leaders Regiment Painted Band Drum

Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a very nice 1960s era drum for the Junior Leaders Regiment of the Royal Armoured Corps. There is a nice painted Mark V British Tank in the center with the subunits of the Royal Armoured Corps on each side. The drum measures 14½” tall with a 14½” diameter.
Junior Leaders' Regiments began in the mid-1950s, growing from the earlier system of 'Boy Service', and continued into the 1990s. There were various Junior Leader Regiments for entrants to the various Regiments and Corps of the Army.
The paint on the drum is worn but still displays well. A great example, likely from the 1960s and manufactured by Premier. Still has all the working parts and plays fine. Comes ready for further research and display!
