Original Items: One-of-a-kind set. An original British flintlock dragoon pistol in complete condition showing use, the 12" barrel still faintly engraved:

Also included with the pistol is an original leather bound volume of "HISTORICAL RECORDS OF THE BRITISH ARMY, by command of his date Majesty William IVth and under the Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen."

Published in 1847.

This volume:

HISTORICAL RECORD OF THE SEVENTH REGIMENT, OR THE ROYAL FUSILIERS: An account of the formation of the regiment in 1685, and of its subsequent services to 1846.

Complete with some color plates and script detailing the Regiment's time in Boston in 1776, and their extensive involvement in the Revolutionary war right up until Yorktown and until they returned to England in 1783.

A lovely set recently purchased from a collection in England accumulated over 50 years.
