  • Original Item: Only One Available. William Moore worked from his shop at 78 Edgware Road in London from 1790 until 1835.

This 14 bore (28 gauge, .55 diameter bore) shotgun was one of his best selling models with 31" barrels and an overall length of 47 1/2".

Notable features include; intricate scroll engraving to lock and furniture with a fine quality one-piece walnut stock, complete with wooden ramrod utilizing a 19th century spent brass cartridge case on the tip as the rammer.

This particular shotgun has been fitted with fresh almost like new nipples perhaps indicating

that it was used not so very long ago. Lots of markings under the barrel. Offered only as a good condition wall hanger, not for shooting. Very attractive.
