Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a great likely USGI Bring back set of medals from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, one of the nations created when the Holy Roman Empire was dissolved in 1806. It is a country with a long history full of memorable personalities, and with those came an equal number of medals and orders awarded for military and civic achievements. We assume that these medals were brought home during the post WWII period.
The medals include:
- Karl Troop Cross with incorrect green white and red ribbon.
- War Commemorative Medal (Austria) issued in 1933 for WWI service. With crossed swords device.
- Hungarian Military Merit Medal "Signum Laudis", with swivel crown, Silver Class.
- Medal for Bravery (Austria-Hungary) with medal bar style ribbon, no pin.
- Ver Dienst Military Merit Medal with mini-medal device. Missing the central piece on the back.
