Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a great lot of three Austro-Hungarian bayonet frogs from the First World War, for use with the M1895 bayonets. Each is of a slightly different manufacture.
The first is black leather with a larger slit for the frog button. The rear is stamped P42A. Great shape.
The second is great brown pebbled leather, with a medium sized frog button slit and heavier wear. The back of the frog appears to have some period ink stamps, too hard to read. The stitching is strong.
The last frog is plain brown leather with a thinner frog button slit. This example is void of any markings.
These are often referred to as the M88/95 bayonet frog as it fits the bayonet for both rifles.
