Original Item. Only One Available. This is a large framed print depicting Franz Josef I of Austria-Hungary and Kaiser Wilhelm II on horseback at the front during World War I, with a myriad of other soldiers and service members in the foreground. The print is very colorful and the frame is certainly period, meant to encapsulate the bond between the two empires at the start of the war.
The back retains a single loop for hanging, and on the bottom center is a maker’s label reading:
RAHMENHAUS
Brüder Nedomansky
K.u.k. Hoflieferanten
1. Bez. Opernring Nr. 17 WIEN IV. Hauptstrabe 27-29
This denotes manufacture in Vienna!
An outstanding print from the beginning of WWI, ready to hang and display.
