Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This is a beautifully appointed OTTOMAN flintlock pistol made to follow European lines covered in Silver wire inlay in the carved wood stock. The butt cap with long ears, the trigger guard and the intricate side plate all of Silver or iron with heavy Silver inlay. The engraved lock is nicely engraved including the swan neck cock. Measuring almost 20" in over all length the barrel itself, also engraved, measures 12 1/2". There are also some maker marks on the lock plate and barrel, but we cannot decipher them, so they may just be imitation.
Copying the western Style, the pistol displays a silver-inlaid "faux" ramrod which is not intended for use. The actual ramrod was usually carried on a leather thong carried around the neck, so that it could not be dropped during reloading on horseback.
In fine working order and fully cleaned condition ready to display!

These antique guns are not sold in "live" condition. They are sold as collector's items or as "wall hangers". Any attempt at restoring an antique gun to be operational is strongly discouraged and is done so at the risk of the customer. By purchasing an antique gun from IMA you thereby release IMA, its employees and corporate officers from any and all liability associated with use of our Antique guns.
