Original 1965 British Paratrooper Small Arms Drop Case

Original Item: Just a few of these really rare items found! Made from Padded Quilted Cotton these are approximately 42" long and resemble a gun case however the complete underside edge and Butt end are open.
Designed to be fitted over a Bren Gun or Rifle these covers provided protection for the weapon and Paratrooper when landing an air drop. Each Cover is correctly marked with Manufacturer's Code and dated 1965.
Each is also fitted with an exterior padded pocket that could contain a Sniper Scope or other such delicate item. Released from Military Stores in the early 1990s.
