  • Original item: Only One Available This is in just splendid condition, having spent most of the past 100 years in a Regimental Museum display. It is a standard socket bayonet used by His Majesty's forces in North America and across the Empire and throughout the Napoleonic Wars. Just a bit of surface rust on the blade, exactly as it was in the museum.

    The bayonet is maker marked to JOHN-GILL on the 16" blade, with an overall length 20 1/2". Designed for the .75 bore Brown Bess Musket, which was in service for over 100 years as the primary long arm of the British Empire.

    In perfect condition, ready to display.
