Museum Quality Replica Item. Only One Available. All WWII fans and reenactors know about the 88mm German gun. Designed as an anti-aircraft gun, it was first used against armor and infantry in 1939. It then equipped the mighty Tiger tanks.
Not Available for Export.
This is a very nice high quality reproduction example of the German 88mm round. The projectile retains replicated markings:

Fa1043

7rdf 5.43
The piece came with a 22-pound steel rod on the interior to mimic the original weight, but the round and casing themselves are actually very light. The casing is made from six pieces of wood attached together and covered in the epoxy. The round measures roughly 44” long with a 6” base diameter. It was manufactured by Armae in the UK. The rim along the bottom of the casing looks like a piece broke off at one point, but was reattached. It should definitely be handled with care, as we can see some hairline cracks at the top around the inert projectile, though they may just be the glue seams from when the wood was joined.
A nice replica round, ready for display.
