Original Item: The butt cap is the joint between the butt and the receiver on a Lewis gun. Part of the brilliance of the Lewis design is the quick-detachable butt stock. The Mk I butt stock caps feature a top and bottom tang, joined by a long screw. The screw is sold separately. We have only a few pieces. All are in very nice shape.
