Original Item: Like many countries, India adopted a version of the FAL rifle for its troops. For the bayonet, India looked to the No.5 rifle bayonet for a model, as had the UK. The result was a bayonet very much like the No. 5 and the British L1 series. The 1A short bayonet has an 8-inch blade and uses the No. 5 steel scabbard. The new grips have been designed to stand ?proud? to reproduce the appearance of the originals.
