Original Item. Only One Available. Czech manufactured ZB-37 non-firing BATF approved display machine gun used and marked by the Germans during WWII. During the occupation of Czechoslovakia, Germany continued production of this machinegun and called it MG37(t). It was widely used by the Waffen SS and Polizei formations.
The ZB vz Model 1937 was a masterpiece of design and machine work. The tripod alone may be the most complex of the WWII collection and it includes an antiaircraft extension. The anti-aircraft setup allows the gun to be displayed above ground-mount machine guns in a display. The ZB37 so impressed the British authorities that it was copied as the BESA machine gun for use in armored vehicles.
The particular display gun has faint waffent amt inspection marks and is in overall spectacular museum quality condition. A genuine WWII German display machine gun perfect for any collection.
