Original Item: Sold out for over a year, we found one crate of these in the depths of the warehouse! Possibly used by German Troops on the Russian Front during the winter, these original rubber 98k muzzle covers were intended to be left on the Mauser rifles and just shot away when the fighting began. The traditional metal covers froze and could not function or be removed; these rubber caps were the perfect solution.
These are almost certainly post war manufactured.
