Regular price $2,495.00

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a really nice example of the German M.G. 13 Light Machine gun reassembled from a quality original world war two parts set, to BATF specifications.

The MG 13 Adopted in 1931, this was a time when German rearmament was prohibited according to the Treaty of Versailles which followed Germany's collapse at the end of WW1. In order to disguise development the Germans designated this weapon MG 13 reversing the numerals in 1931 to 13.

Hitler had already taken power by 1934 with the introduction of the MG 34 and by then the gloves were off and Germany saw no need to hide their renewed armament program.

This fine example, rebuilt on an original re-welded receiver includes folding buttstock, bipod and leather sling as well as a 25 round box magazines most dated 1938 and waffen amt marked and coded. In addition this Display comes with seven additional 25 round magazines (8 total) all similarly marked in their twin magazine pouches with carry belt, making this an extremely desirable set ready to display.
