German WWII Helmet Liner M31 & Chin Strap- Dated 1943 Fits M35, M40, M42 Helmets

Regular price $39.95

Item Description

New Made Item: Perhaps the best reproduction liner available on the market. These are made in same fashion as the originals. High quality genuine leather cut in the same manner assembled on an aluminum outer and steel inner band. Outer band has maker B & C LITZMANNSTADT, dated 1943 with size stamp. These liners are fully assembled and ready to install in your shell. Each even comes complete with a correct all leather chin strap (black exterior, brown interior) and aluminum buckle with stamp R. LARSEN BERLIN 1938.

The 1943 dates makes this most acceptable for an M42 shell, though this liner will certainly fit M35 or M40 helmets.

Available in the following sizes:

68/60- Shell Size 68, Head Size 60 (US 7 1/2)

66/58- Shell Size 66, Head Size 58 (US 7 1/4)

64/56- Shell Size 68, Head Size 56 (US 7)

You can typically fit a liner into one shell size smaller or larger. Meaning a size 68/60 liner can usually be made to fit into a shell size 66 or 70.

How do I install the liner?

1. Find the rear seam on the outer liner band (there are two rivets and hole)). Place the liner in the shell and line hole up with the rear hole in the shell. Install the first split pin (you will have to hold the inner leather band out of the way while you spread the split pin).

2. Line up the 2 front holes in the shell and liner band, and install the last 2 pins (same as above).

NOTE: Split Pins are not included with this liner, but they are available separately under item code AGG7129.
