New Made Reproduction Items. Very Few Available. These are high-quality European-Made reproductions of the German WWII Fettbüchse, commonly referred to by collectors as a Bakelite butter dish or fat container. Offered in black, green, and orange, each example closely follows the dimensions, general form, and appearance of original wartime examples while remaining clearly identifiable here as a modern reproduction.
We are offering a great selection of reproduction bakelite (plastic) German butter dishes in black, green, and orange. These bakelite dishes are actually constructed of plastic with correct dimensions. Each example has replicated markings making them nearly indistinguishable from originals. There are some molding flaws but nothing serious.
These reproductions are well suited for completing a German WWII field-equipment display, reenactor bread-bag setup, mannequin, or other presentation where using an original wartime Fettbüchse would be impractical.
