Original Item: One Only! Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more photos. Marked ?Nedinsco, Venlo, System, CARL WEISS, Jena" with serial number, and Dated 1938 with other optics info. This is an original WW2 era infantry short rangefinder for close quarters combat. Externally appears complete with original green paint finish and all adjustment knobs, etc, in place. Rubber eyepiece surround absent, tear in end leather carry strap. Complete in its original padded lined leather Carrying Roll with securing straps (one strap absent). The carrier also German marked is also complete with its original canvas shoulder strap. Appears just great! HOWEVER, not apparent from the exterior the inner reflectors (behind the eyepieces) have been removed so when to look through the eyepieces you have a fine view of the other side of the rangefinder tube. So this is a Decorator example only. In the 1980s we'd sell these for close to $ 1,000, they haven't been around in many years.
