New Made Item: This all steel helmet comes complete with the early model features, such as a early war three piece padded leather liner, a Pickelhaulbe style thick leather adjustable chin strap with securing rings to the inside of the helmet bowl. Both of these features were changed for the M-1918 Production. This M-1916 has the required "horns" for ventilation and for mounting the Sniper Brow Plate. It also has the signature German Helmet rolled edge.
The finish/color is classic matte hand painted multi-panel camouflage. Every helmet has been hand painted and aged, so none will be the same to give it a one-of-a-kind personalization as if it was picked up after a battle put away in a safe place and rediscovered 70 years later
Sizing: One size fits most; this helmet comes with an adjustable drawstring leather liner, the liner is approximately adjustable from 7 to 7 1/2 and can be made larger with some cutting of the liner padding (however, any alterations of this nature will make the helmet non-returnable).
