German Prussian WWI Era Restored Military Infantry Drum

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a most attractive and speculative item that came out of a WWI collection in England only last year. This is an old classic Military Drum with 8" height Brass sides. Wooden banded top and bottom decorated with red saw teeth on white background. Five steel tensioners with brass locking wing nuts, both skins recently replaced, within the last 10-15 years, with modern English made examples purely for display. The brass body of the drum bearing an Imperial German (Prussian, we think) circular plaque 3" in diameter surrounded by "J.R." and "97" (Jeager Regiment # 97).
Now this is outside our expertise however this is a most appealing item that has surfaced from an old English WW1 Collection. This drum has been clearly restored and ready to display.
