Original Item: Purchased many years ago, these are original heavy leather MP 28 Double Short magazine Pouches to accommodate two 20 rd 9mm MP 28 Magazines. For years we offered a longer version, perhaps a 30 or 32 round version, but these finally all sold out in 2009. We never realized we had these shorter as only one small box of 30 units has come to light. Every pouch is maker marked rear, markings are faint but it appears that they read- "Otto Sindel, Berlin". Clearly each is of very high quality heavy construction from the early 1930s with a brass closure reinforcement plate. An interesting variation not before encountered.
