German Artillery Rucksack: Genuine WW2 Issue (GRADE 1)

Original Item: Purchased in Norway in 1987 this is the real thing! Straight from Military storage these are ORIGINAL German WW2 issue canvas and leather green Rucksacks specifically issued to German Artillery units. Well documented in "UNIFORMS & TRADITIONS OF THE GERMAN ARMY 1933-1945" by ANGOLIA and SCHLICHT, see page 90 for photographs and script. Adopted on 21st February 1940 by General order # HM 40, No.298 we have one original crate straight from the Norwegian Military which was packed for storage immediately after WW2. Quantity is limited and types and conditions vary however every Rucksack bears original German WW2 markings and dates. Some show minor damage, mouse holes, to canvas or some have been darned and stitched, typical WW2 field repairs, these are genuine issued NSDAP field equipment that have been in storage for 60 plus years.
Note all Grade 1 bags have canvas shoulder straps. We do not have any more leather strapped ones (as pictured).
