  • Original item: One Only. A fine quality Victorian era Silver mounted Gentleman's pipe complete in hinged leather carrying case marked: "A.D.P."  Fine briar wood bowl with amber/simulated amber stem, (showing small repair) connected by a hall marked silver collar bearing the inscription  " Presented to Supt. Mash by the Officers of the Terrington Division, May 5th. 1890". Well worthy of research this period in English History is precisely the time of "Jack the Ripper" and the London Fogs. Never caught the murderer, of multiple London Street Girls, known as Jack the Ripper was hunted by every Police Officer in the Kingdom. Police collectibles are always hard to find and particularly from this particularly macabre era of London seedy history.
