Original German WWII 26" x 44" Fragment of Banner Reading "Führer" with Bring Back Note from USGI

Original Item: One of a Kind. This is a lovely 26" x 44" section of a muslin canvas banner, which apparently was originally 30 feet long, and probably displayed outside for events. They were not able to take back the whole banner, but easily recognized the word "Führer", used to refer to the leader of NSDAP Germany, Adolf H. The banner section has natured to a lovely beige color, and still show a clear printed Führer in German "Blackletter" typeface.
Along with the banner section we received a handwritten note by the USGI who acquired it, who unfortunately did not leave a name, but gave plenty of other details:
This is part of a 30 ft. N**i
banner which I found in the Vacha
town hall attic. I couldn't read
the whole thing but this part
says "Führer". It was probably
hung across the town square
out front at one time.
The rear of the note is clearly labeled Krankenhaus der Hospitalstiftung Vacha, or "Hospital of the Vacha Hospital Foundation", and is labeled Rechnung, or "Invoice". So, it was written on the back of a partial invoice form, and the prices are in RM, for Reichsmark, a currency discontinued in 1948. This means the note is almost certainly WWII period, or from the immediate post war period.
