  • Original Item: Theses are the emergency issue Fighting Knives used by many of the Invading Allied Armies on Continental Europe during the second half of 1944. All steel construction, using a 61/2" blade section from the French cruciform Lebel bayonet mounted on an all steel knurled no-slip hilt. The Fighting Knives come in slightly modified British Enfield #4 spike bayonet scabbard. Recently released from storage, these are extremely interesting invasion items widely used during the closing year of WWII. Excellent condition.
