Original Item: Very Few Available. Well we've never seen anything like this, a huge full length Percussion Brunswick Rifle of the P-1837 Pattern with two groove rifling for belted ball in .75 Caliber!
Featuring a massive 41" barrel with a very substantial two position flip rear sight; all brass furniture including ramrod pipes, trigger guard, butt plate and patch box cover. Large bayonet stand mounted on right side of barrel muzzle for sword bayonet.
This is nothing short of a truly magnificent weapon that is big even by today's standards but must have been truly enormous to the 1840 rifleman. Certainly only issued to very special units for long range sniping such a sized Brunswick in this lovely cleaned and complete condition an amazing find. Fully reconditioned by IMA master antique armorers.
Extremely rare, we believe that fewer than 10 were recovered from Nepal in 2003.
