Original Item: The first few Vickers guns did not have a tripod stop, and as a result if the gun were tilted to far upwards, the fusee spring cover could be damaged. Consequently, the stop was added to the left receiver plate. The very first stops had a triangular lightening cut, but this was dropped very early. This is the only one IMA has seen.
