Original Item: Each Vickers water jacket has two threaded openings for water and opening for steam. The steam opening is normally closed with a cork plug to keep dirt out of the system, while the two water openings (fill and drain ports) are sealed with threaded brass plugs. Brass is used for these plugs so that the female threads of the jacket cannot be damaged by cross threading.
I.M.A has found a few original plugs which also include the hardened wire loop and the link. They are in two original configurations, one is all brass and the other features an insulated handle. The all-brass plugs have original markings.
