Original Item: Each Lewis gunner was provided with a leather carry case for the most often used tools and spares for the gun. I.M.A. has obtained a small supply of these original issue leather cases. The case is 9" x 8" and the pocket is 8" x 4". Each wallet has two sewn loops and a small strap and buckle to hold the plug, clearing, gun, Lewis. All are marked .303" M G along with the manufacture initials, the year of manufacture, an inspection stamp and the ordnance broad arrow. Dates range from 1916-1925.
