New Made Item: This is an old production replica of the very rare Austrian issue Ersatz Bayonet of the First World War. Of all steel construction, this bayonet is designed not to have a traditional handle.
Formed by turning the blade tang through 90 degrees with muzzle ring cross-guard and flat spring locking system. Intended for use with the Mannlicher 1895 Rifle, the bayonets were designed to fit many of the WWI rifles used by both the Germans and Allies.
Very rare, issued without the scabbard. Ideal to fill the hole in any collection.
These are old production (over 20 years) and will show storage age.
