Ancient Greek All Bronze Corinthian War Helmet

Item Description

New Made Item (or it would cost $ 40,000!): Known as a "Corinthian" helmet, these style helmets were used all over Ancient Greece right back to the time of the Trojan Wars (remember the film "Troy"?). Actually, the example currently in residence at the Smithsonian Institution was gifted to President Harry S Truman, having been excavated at Corinth by a grateful Greek Nation for U.S. actions in WW2. This replica is magnificent, constructed of Bronze, an all-enclosing Helmet with that wonderful deep "bronze/gold" glow, ideal for the Executive Desktop. Hugely expensive to manufacture but once seen, well worth the effort and cost. In new condition that will age just like the originals over the next 5,000 years!
