Original British WWII Commonwealth Uniform - Helmet - Field Gear Collection

Item Description

Original Items: Only One Set Available. Collection of original WWII British and Commonwealth items suitable for a torso mannequin display. All items are original WWII Period items unless specified. Items do show signs of honest use, wear, and storage age. Items included in the collection are as follows:

- Pattern 1940 “Austerity” Model Battledress Jacket in serge. Dated 1943, and made by the firm of Montague Burton Ltd. of Leeds. Soldier’s name and service number are written in the lining “Brumfield, Adolph/B8627”. Size is marked as “7” indicating a 35-36” chest, and a wearer height of 5’7” to 5’8”

- Pattern 1937 Mills Webbing Set. Includes a Pair of Universal Pouches (Markings are present, but illegible), Belt (Marked, but also unable to read the date), Braces (Dated 1940), Entrenching Tool and Carrier (carrier dated 1943). Most Pieces in this set are fitted with brass (wartime) hardware, and are in near unissued condition.

- MkIII “Turtle Helmet”, Liner dated 1953. Missing Chinstrap. Original net.

- .455 Webley Revolver Holster. Unissued. Canadian Broad Arrow marked. Dated 1943

- Web Rifle Case for the Enfield Rifle. Dated 1942

- Flashlight “Lamps, Electric No.1/C.H. Ltd” and Broad Arrow marked. Unissued condition.
