The AN/PRC-25, also known as "Prick-25," had a short but highly successful career. In fact, in 1967, General Creighton Abrams, the deputy commander of the Military Assistance Command Vietnam (MACV), referred to it as "the most important tactical item in Vietnam today." Although FM 24-24 was used as late as 1994, the device was long retired from active US service before then. One of the manuals that applied to this device was the TM11-5820-398-12 manual.
This training equipment is in pristine condition with unmistakable markings and all controls operating flawlessly as designed. The bottom panel was not removed, but we believe that there are no electronic components inside, despite the initial appearance.
