Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice original N.O.S. (New Old Stock) 18 inch forend stock for the Model 1873 "Military Musket" Rifle. From what we have been told, these were made to allow customization of the longer military style firearm, and the lower barrel band would be removed, and the upper band and nose cap reused. It is in excellent condition, with just a bit of storage wear. It shows no signs of having been attached to a rifle at any point. It measures 18 inches long, not counting the beveled portions at the end.
