Original Item. Only One Available. The product of a joint effort between the Coleman & Rogers companies and the United States Army, the M-1950 was a rugged little gasoline fueled camp stove dubbed the "Squad Stove". The M-1950 served in the U.S. Army for 36 years and was designed to perform the task of quickly boiling water in the field. The M-1950 had an output of 5500 BTU.
This example is in fair, heavily service-worn condition with much of its paint still retained, but there is some loss. The primary flaw is the gasoline compartment is sunk in a bit and rusted in one spot. It comes in a replaced WWII-era Bayonet “F” canister, which is marked for C.M. CO 1944. The stove has partial instruction labels and is marked on the side:
U.S.
“ROGERS”-AKRON, OHIO
1965
The metal fittings all function as intended and extend to cook as needed. The original wrench appears to be gone. There is some denting in the body of the stove, as well as on the bottom.
The canister is 7” tall with a 4” diameter. A great set ready for further research and display!
