This is a great lot of WWII personal effects & rations commonly found in the kit of an American G.I. This lot has some great items that will definitely help spruce up your WWII G.I. display.
The lot includes:
- Roll-Up Soldier’s toiletries kit with toothbrush in plastic case, hand-squeeze razor, small metal tube, Gillette razor without razor, bar of Wrisley soap in plastic container, and a trench mirror. This kit makes for a great display.
- “Myths After Lincoln” by Lloyd Lewis in small size, “Armed Forces Edition”.
- Unopened pack of Wrigley’s gum, spearmint. 1932 copyright.
- “For Victory” War Bonds matchbook, full.
- PAR X gum container, empty.
- Sealed Griffin ABC Shoe Polish, Military Size. “To open, insert point of knife at arrow, draw blade around edge of cover”. Great piece.
- Two soldier’s towels, same size.
- Box of Tape, Cellulose, Muzzle Cover. This tape would prevent the entry of water, snow, or mud into the barrel of small arms. It may be fired through safely. The roll is complete and the box is GREAT!
