Original Item. Only One Available. This is a lovely & hard-to-find WWII officer’s tan/pinkish summerweight garrison cap for an officer in the Parachute Infantry of the Airborne. There is a period-applied Paratrooper infantry patch on the left side, with officer black/gold piping on the cap.
The piping of this example seems standard without any serious loss. The sweatband shows minor service wear with a stamped enlisted laundry number, P3766, likely the officer’s laundry number before being commissioned.
