  • Original Items. One-of-a-Kind Group. This is a lovely grouping including two marked duffel bags, a haversack, HBT cap, photos, and ephemera identified to Anthony P. Bredice, who during World War II served with the 3rd Artillery Corps, attached to the 1st Marine Division. He took part in the Battle of Okinawa and several others. He remained in the Marine Corps into the Korean War era, when he was promoted to sergeant. During the Korean War era, he was assigned to Battery D, 2nd Anti-Aircraft Artillery, Auto Weapons Battalion. He does not appear to have gone to Korea.
