Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is an interesting set of ephemera belonging to a Navy sailor who served during World War II. The central piece of the group is a large 5⅝” patch with a chess Knight piece and KNIGHTS OKINAWA under and over. We are unsure what this patch represents, but it’s a good research project.
The group includes:
- Knights Okianawa Patch
- Smaller version of the patch without text, just Knight chess piece.
- 2 ribbon bars with 5 ribbons total. 2 American campaign, 1 WWII victory, 1 American Defense, and 1 Navy Good Conduct.
- Set of Sterling Naval Aviator wings bent and turned into ring, interesting.
- Small naval aviator locket, empty.
- Two ruptured duck honorable discharge patches.
- Small enamel Goodyear pin.
Ready for further research and display.
