Original Items. Only One Group Available. This is a good group of gear that would have been used by men of the 10th Mountain Division during World War II.
The lot includes:
- M1942 Mountain Backpack - Rucksack with Frame by Baker Lockwood Mfg Co dated 1942. The bag has heavy damage with some modern patch repairs in the material. There is a faint name on the flap, Jon Wood.
- Mountain Troops Parka with Coyote Fur Lined Hood by Jerauld Mfg. Co. in size Small. Has QMC Seattle tag in pocket. Good shape overall with wear.
- Mountain Troops trousers with cutter tags, with tag for Progressive Coat & Apron Mfg. Co., size 42x33. 1942-dated contract.
- Mountain Troops glove covers with Snap openings and tightening straps. Stamped J. Newman & Sons. Inc., Dated 1942.
- Small brush bristle set within metal ring.
- US Tweedie 1944-marked white cover tarp with tightening straps. We are unsure of the purpose of this piece.
