Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a very scarce M1910 first aid pouch with an original 1916-dated Bandage / First Aid Packet. It is faintly marked JPS 1917 under the flap. Both snaps still work great. The back of the pouch is stenciled D5 68 and under the flap is stenciled D 68, denoting a unit marking of Company D, 68th Regiment (Infantry or Artillery).
There is a unit equipment tag on the front marked A17 50, another marking from when it was reissued.
The first aid packet is of the November 2nd, 1916 contract and has some heavy denting as shown, but it is still unopened and displays great.
A great set, ready for display.
