Original Item. Only One Available. This is an excellent Army recruitment sign designed during the late Vietnam War period. It is a single-sided metal sign depicting three distinct parts of the Army - Artillery, Infantry, and Armor. At the bottom it reads “CHOOSE BEFORE ENLISTMENT / US ARMY”. The soldier in the center carries an M-14 rifle, with dark green M-1956 gear.
The sign measures 25 x 34” and is in fair overall condition with some bubbling of the paint at the top. The sign has seven holes punched along the edges of the sides and bottom, but no holes on the top.
We haven’t found many other examples of this sign, making it quite a rare offering. It is the first example we’ve offered and we don’t expect to find another one anytime soon. Comes ready to mount and display!
